2. Implants and surgical treatments:

Crowns
Possible reasons for placing a crown could be:
- unnatural look of the tooth due to multiple-coloured filling
- fracture of the tooth after a very big filling
- broken off tooth after an accident
- for changing the position of teeth
When it is advisable to place a crown, a porcelain cap shaped like a tooth will be fixed to the tooth to obtain a natural look.

step one: Intensive teeth and gum cleaning (by scaling and removing plaque)
Scaling is a very important part of dental care. It should be done on a regular basis; ideally it should be done once every six months.
Scaling removes calculus and hardened stains that normal brushing can't remove.
Plaque in our mouth becomes hardened due to the presence of calcium in the saliva. While plaque can be removed by normal, thorough brushing, hardened plaque or calculus can only be removed by Scaling.
Scaling helps preventing cavities and gum diseases.
Scaling is also important in reducing bad breath as bad breath is usually caused by bacteria that are present in the plaque and calculus.
If scaling is not done regularly, the bacteria can also cause infections and even loosening of one's teeth through bone loss.
